Sliding Head Machinist - ASC Connections Ltd : Job Details

A Sliding Head Machinist is required to join a manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton, supplying various clients with high performance bolts and fasteners. As a sliding head machinist, you will be responsible for the setting and operating of Citizen multi-axis sliding head lathes, supplying companies in the MOD and Oil & Gas industries, amongst others.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering firm on a temp-to-perm basis. To be considered, you should have experience working within a similar machining role.

The duties of this Sliding Head Machinist role include;

• Setting and operating Citizen multi-axis sliding head lathes
• Working from engineering drawings
• Loading and unloading the machine
• Producing bolts, nuts and specialist fasteners
• Any other duties as and when required

This role will be working permanent days, 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

The pay rate is negotiable depending on experience, in the region of £18.00 - £20.00 per hour.
