About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Social Media Manager to take ownership of and significantly grow our organic social media presence across all ZAVA locales: the UK, France, Ireland, and Germany (with more European markets coming soon!). You will develop and execute innovative social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and, ultimately, customer acquisition.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of working autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. The Head of Organic Growth will support you and will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's online voice.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media strategy across all ZAVA locales (UK, Germany, France, Ireland) on major social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube & TikTok.

Content Creation & Management: Create and curate engaging, informative, and brand-aligned content for various social media platforms.

Community Management: Foster and grow online communities, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, using data to optimize strategies and tactics.

Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and identify opportunities for innovation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, creative, product, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign alignment.

Paid Social Awareness: Possess a foundational understanding of paid social media strategies and how they complement organic efforts.

Localisation: Adapt social media strategies and content to suit the cultural nuances and preferences of different locales.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of growing organic social media presence.
  • Ideal experience across major social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube & TikTok European-wide.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent content creation and copywriting skills.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A "doer" mentality with a drive to exceed targets.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience:

  • Fluency in one of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and practices.
  • Experience in digital PR and content marketing.
  • Experience with video creation and editing.
  • Experience in the healthcare or e-commerce industry.
