Social Worker- Adults Area Team - Randstad Care : Job Details

Rate: £31.27 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Contract Type: Temp

Location: Worcestershire - Hybrid working

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Adults Area Team at Worcestershire County Council. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults within our community. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive needs assessments, developing person-centered care plans, liaising effectively with families, other professionals, and relevant agencies, managing a complex caseload, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services in line with legislation and best practice guidelines.

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults' needs and developing appropriate care plans.
• Managing a complex caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
• Liaising effectively with families, other professionals, and relevant agencies.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services in line with legislation and best practice guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Participating in regular supervision and team meetings.

• Social Work qualification (e.g., DipSW, BA/BSc Social Work)
• SWE registration
• Significant post-qualification experience in adult social work
• Excellent assessment, planning, and care management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel freely throughout Worcestershire (own transport preferred)
