Social Worker - Tripod Social Care : Job Details

Social Worker | Adoption and Kinship Team | London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

We are looking for a Social Worker with current Social Work experience to join a busy front door Social Work team. This team is a mixture of Fostering and Adoption, supervising up to 18 Foster carers . The Social Worker will based in the Barking office for 3 days, working from home the rest of the week.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Legislation i.e. Fostering National Minimum Standards and Regulations
• Knowledge of Mockingbird Family Model
• Experience of working with foster carers in a busy fostering environment

To be considered, you must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in Social Work, Social Work Degree or equivalent) as well as at least 3 years post qualified experience working as a Qualified Social Worker within a similar team.
