Requirements:

  • A qualified Social Worker with post-qualifying experience, preferably in learning disabilities or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and experience of working in social care settings, particularly with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with service users, families, and professionals to achieve successful outcomes.

NonStop Consulting is looking for a Progressed Social Worker to join our Adults with Learning Disabilities Team in the North West of England. The Role

  • As a Progressed Social Worker in our Adults with Learning Disabilities Team, you will:
  • Support adults with learning disabilities to access the services and support they need to live a fulfilling life.
  • Work with individuals with complex health and forensic needs, providing skilled interventions to promote independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and other professionals to create person-centred care plans that focus on desired outcomes.
  • Apply your knowledge of the Care Act 2014 to assess needs and provide recommendations.
  • Be involved in the duty system, providing support to the team as needed.
