Software Developer – 3 Month Initial Contract – Hybrid – Leicester – Outside IR35

VIQU have partnered with an enterprise level organisation who are seeking a Software Developer on a contract basis.

The successful Software Developer will be involved in BAU support as well as project work, and will sit within a team that handles Product Information Management for the business.

The role:

This is a backend focussed role, and background working with product data / databases would be beneficial.

The role will involve actioning tickets, as well as working on high-profile projects within the organisation. This is a fast-moving environment, so the ability to communicate clearly and concisely is important, and our client is looking for a candidate who can engage effectively with their key stakeholders.

Key skills & experience:

• Extensive experience working as a Software Developer with a focus on the backend
• .Net / .Net core, C#, MVC
• SQL Server and SQL databases
• Azure Service Bus, Azure Webhooks
• HTML, CSS
• TDD, Unit Testing, Automated testing
• Agile (SCRUM)
• Strong communication skills

Role details:

• Job role: Software Developer   
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 3 months’ initial contract 
• Rate: £350 - £390 per day
• IR35 status: Outside IR35
• Location: 2 days per week onsite in Leicester
