Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Assist in the development of organisation-wide tools, frameworks, and platforms that enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with fellow developers and key stakeholders to gather requirements, create solutions, and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that is easy to test.
• Participate in code reviews, offering feedback and contributing to improved code quality and development work-flows.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
• Continuously explore and stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with high-performance Python, including a deep understanding of its ecosystem and best practices.
• Experience working with at least one JVM-based language such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems concepts, with practical experience in working with distributed architectures.
• Proficiency in containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working within a Linux environment and utilising version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD work-flows and automation tools.
