Software Engineer - React JS - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyWorking for an organisation in the finance industry providing flexibility for colleagues to thrive personally and professionally.?Your new roleAs the software engineer, you will have excellent soft skills, strong technical ability with an extensive passion to learn. As a Software Engineer on a Scrum team, you will be building and enhancing features in the Account domain. You will also coordinate and work with other engineers across the platform to share knowledge and principles.Knowledge of software engineering methodology (Agile, incl Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Waterfall).What you'll need to succeed

• Computer Science or electrical engineering (with computer engineering focus or equivalent) university diploma
• High level of comfort with object-oriented languages, and especially TypeScript
• Strong fundamentals--data structures, algorithms, computer science core concepts
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and CSS
• Proficient with CSS3
• Knowledge of Accessibility and Web Standards
• Experience with both Responsive and Adaptive Web Design
• Experience with using design language systems or similar
• Understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Familiarity with ADA compliance
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.
• Ability to perform benchmarking and optimization
