EMBEDDED SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER (C++)

NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITHIN A LEADING AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE COMPANY FOR A SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

• Leading aerospace and defence company
• £62.50/ph inside IR35
• 6-month initial contract with probability of extension
• On-site requirement based in Portsmouth
• SC Clearance

WHAT WILL THE EMBEDDED SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER BE DOING?

As a Software Test Engineer, you will be joining a team undertaking the test software aspects of modem products and associated communication systems. The team as a whole are responsible for undertaking the design and implementation of a satellite communications Software Defined Radio (SDR) modem. You will be part of a small multi-disciplinary team containing software, system, firmware and infrastructure engineers.

WE NEED THE SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER TO HAVE….

• C++ software engineering experience on Linux platforms
• Experience Integration testing in an embedded environment
• Git for software configuration control
• Experience of device management interfaces for design, implementation, and test
• Highly desirable is experience of Robot Framework or similar automation tools
• An active SC clearance is required
