Due to their continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to secure new commercial contracts and accelerate their market presence.
The Role:As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding the company’s client base. Your focus will be on identifying and securing new business opportunities in the commercial solar PV market while nurturing existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for securing new business in the commercial solar PV sector.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract closure.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, providing regular forecasts and progress updates to management.
- Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to clients, showcasing tailored solutions.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide market insights and contribute to the development of competitive offerings.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Salary and Benefits:
- Base Salary: £45,000 per annum.
- Uncapped Commission Structure: Realistic OTE of £100,000+.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience in the commercial solar PV market.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in closing high-value contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline while achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation skills with experience in drafting and closing contracts.
- Technical aptitude to convey complex solutions in simple, client-friendly terms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach.

- Experience working with clients in Industrial Facilities or Public Sector Projects.
