SolidWorks Mechanical Design Engineer - Bristol / Glos CONTRACT

Seeking talented Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks for High level Research & Development & Specialist equipment design and build for offshore sector. A fast-growing, innovative and exciting company to work for.

The Role

Play a leading role in the Design of new High profile R&D Projects include design & build.

Leading R&D Engineering Company - Specialist equipment manufacturers for Offshore/ Marine/ Naval / Aerospace engineering - seek talented CAD design engineer Design Engineer role - Ideally with some experience in Design for Manufacturing / Fabrication/ Industrial Engineering. Full project schedule ownership from design, creation to delivery. Working across many functions and with clients and suppliers

Full Development & New Product Engineering

• You will be a Design Engineer / Industrial Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer
• Experienced using SolidWorks with PDM
• With a very good mix of design experience for manufacturing/ built environment.
• With interest in seeing your designs come to life
• And ideally degree in Design or Mechanical engineering

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

• 3D Mechanical Design Engineering using SolidWorks
• Product Data Management Software eg SolidWorks PDM
• 2D CAD using AutoCAD
• Design Engineering experience in manufacturing / fabrication.
• Engineering / Mechanical qualification

Advantage:

• BEng / Engineering - ideally Mechanical or Design or Naval or Marine
• Experience of Aerospace, Marine, Naval or Offshore engineering
• Design engineering for metal fabrication background

Contract Role: Please note that this Role is office based in Bristol/ Glos & inside IR35
