Role: Solution Architect

Location: Gloucester - hybrid

Duration: 6-month contract

Day rate: Negotiable - outside IR35

One of our financial services clients is looking for Solution Architects to be part of a large programme of work, in which they will be involved in designing and overseeing the implementation of cohesive technology solutions. You'll be collaborating with various internal and external delivery teams and stakeholders, as well as the Enterprise Architecture function, to ensure that designs and implementations are appropriate and align with architectural principles and best practices. It also includes creating solution designs and option papers for presentation at TDA and ARB meetings as needed for various portfolio projects, such as solution architecture for digital and trading platforms, financial systems and solution options for a range of insurance capabilities.

Experience looking for:

• Solution architecture experience within the insurance industry
• Experience designing and implementing complex technical solutions in insurance
• Understanding of architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g. Zachman, TOGAF)
• Cloud experience, with Azure preferred, and with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Familiar with enterprise integration patterns and technologies (e.g. APIs, ESB, etc)
• Data architecture understanding, e.g. data modelling, ETL processes and data governance
