Solutions Architect - Lorien : Job Details

We are looking for a Solutions Architect for a 6 month contract, you will provide solution/technology design oversight, design quality, assurance, and advice to ensure compliance of projects and programmes (and services) to architectural standards and roadmaps, resolving or escalating potential non-compliance issues.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate IT architectures and roadmaps, translating complex technical architectures and strategies into understandable and actionable items for the various stakeholders.
• Provide solution/technology design oversight, design quality, assurance, and advice to ensure compliance of projects and programmes (and services) to architectural standards and roadmaps, resolving or escalating potential non-compliance issues.
• Develop innovative solution architectures that are cohesive, fit for purpose and ensure cost effective delivery (and OpEx) of Technology strategy and business priorities.
• Provide technical advisory and consulting to business departments, projects and external stakeholders including third party support providers.

Skills & Experience:

• Desirable - Experience of airport baggage processes, systems and information, or experience within Rail, construction, or utilities
• Demonstrate sound decision making when dealing with a major outsource supplier.

Hybrid working: up to 3 days a week in the office.
