We're offering a base salary of £32,000 - £50,600 and a strong benefits package. Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our growing procurement team at Legal & General. Our Group Procurement team launched a 3 year transformation strategy in 2023 and secured investment in people and systems to deliver the vision of creating a Procurement Centre of Excellence for Legal and General. We are embedding category management and innovative sourcing strategies, and partnering with stakeholders to become a strategic enabler for the business. It's an exciting time to join our team and be part of the transformation. The team work flexibly and prioritise engagement and collaboration with colleagues to ensure great business partnering and best outcomes. A typical working week is two days in an office/supplier location and three days at home. What you'll be doing:
  • Managing procurement activities across various categories including IT, marketing, property, and workplace
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic procurement initiatives
  • Supporting the development and implementation of procurement strategies
  • Engaging in supplier negotiations and contract management
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members
  • Participating in the transformation and optimisation of supply spend
