Spanish Teacher - Reed : Job Details

Reed Education is currently recruiting for a Spanish Teacher to join a secondary school in Northwich. This full-time role is to provide long-term cover. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to delivering high-quality language lessons and fostering a love of Spanish language and culture in students.

Location: Northwich, Cheshire

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Spanish to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons that cater to varying levels of ability.
• Prepare students for language assessments and exams, providing tailored feedback and support.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages students to practice their language skills and develop confidence in speaking Spanish.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods where necessary to meet individual learning needs.
• Keep up-to-date with modern language teaching practices and incorporate them into lessons.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate students and make language learning fun and accessible.
• Enhanced DBS (can be processed through Reed).
• NQTs and ECTs are welcome to apply.
