A well-regarded primary school in Cumnor is currently on the lookout for a Specialist Behavioural Teaching Assistant.

In the role of Specialist Behavioural Teaching Assistant, your duties will include fostering positive behaviour, delivering exceptional care, and addressing social and emotional needs. You will collaborate closely with a KS2 pupil, aiding in their acceptance, and assisting with communication and emotional regulation.

Requirements to join the KS2 Cumnor school:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help pupils succeed.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education or behavioural support (preferred).

DBS is essential!

Degrees - Bsc Psychology, Criminology and Sociology qualifications are highly desired!
