Job Title: Specification and Commercial Business Development Manager

Basic Salary: £40,000 per annum

Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum

Bonus: £12,000 per annum

Working Arrangement: Field based with weekly travel to Central London

Recardo Group is recruiting for a Specification and Commercial Business Development Manager to join our market-leading client. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of specifying a range of products to Architects and Designers across London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Promote, raise awareness, and generate sales through specifying the range of products to

Architects, Consultants, Specialist Engineers, and Interior Designers.

  • Take projects from specification, all the way through to install, in a "cradle to grave" sales role.
  • Liaise with all key internal and external stakeholders and utilise our Dynamics RM system to keep track of and protect your specifications through to Contractor sign off.
  • Identify and source new contact opportunities; introducing our products and services to create upcoming project and specification opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver group presentations to various industry bodies and clients, utilising CPD
  • Build strong relationships with key customers.
  • Ensure ongoing account management and adequate servicing of existing clients.
  • Create and maintain a rolling pipeline of short/medium- and long-term projects,

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ideally have experience within a technical sales role, managing with customers on a direct basis.
  • Ideally have some relevant industry experience in Architecture & Design / Bathroom & Kitchen / Commercial Contractors
  • Experience or confidence in delivering CPD presentations.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid business development and account management.
  • Excellent communication skills with a clear and concise presentation style that conveys the vision in a manner easily understandable to all stakeholders.
  • Able to demonstrate working alone and diary prioritisation.

• Self-motivation and a result driven personality are essential due to the levels of autonomy granted.

Salary : 36000 - 40000
