Contract: Full Time Salary: £30,000 Contracted Hours: 40

As a Specifications Coordinator, you are detail-oriented, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced factory environment. You have a keen eye for accuracy and a deep understanding of technical documentation, particularly within food production or manufacturing settings.

You are proficient in managing and maintaining product specifications, ensuring all information is up-to-date, compliant with industry standards, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Production is essential.

Above all, you are passionate about quality and committed to upholding the highest standards in every aspect of your work.

• To ensure adherence to relevant Health & safety/Food Hygiene legislations• Managing the supplier database to ensure all suppliers are checked and approved to BRCGS standards and customer requirements• Maintain supplier assurance and ETI base code information is up to date• Maintain finished products specifications• Reviewing and approving raw material specifications as well as finished product specifications• Maintain the raw materials log• Raise, issue and coordinate action for Supplier Non-conformances (SNC’s)• Manage the Supplier review and monitoring• Maintain labelling compliance• Maintain and develop excellent relationships with internal persons and departments within the business and external persons.• Communicate with colleagues and Manager• Be flexible to assist with other jobs within Technical Department as required
