### Description**Summary of Role Purpose** The Shift Manager will be the main point of contact for team during theirworking day.Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will ensure dailyoperational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectivesare being carried out by the team and that team are in the right place at theright time to ensure we can manage fluctuating guest demand whilst keepingoperational standards and guest experience high.You will support and coach the team to ensure the deliver a great experienceand are also driving any key targets such as add on sales or promotions.This is an operational guest facing role and therefore all none-guest facingtasks and activity will be allocated as time within your working week to allowyou to spend the majority of your time within your venue and with our guests.### Key ResponsibilitiesWere looking for someone to enhance our guest experience by drivingimprovements in Guest NPS and feedback. Youll also play a crucial role inboosting Employee NPS, ensuring a positive work environment. Your efforts willhelp increase retail spend, all while ensuring that we have the right peoplein the right place at the right time to achieve our goals.### About YouIn this role, you will be responsible for managing the team during shifts,ensuring key tasks and objectives are met. Youll drive add-on sales andpromotions, supporting your team to do the same. Your role includes makingsure all stock and propositions are available for guests, and that aconsistent, high-quality guest experience is delivered in line with brand andvenue guidelines. Youll capture guest feedback and monitor NPS, taking action to improve wherepossible. You will also be responsible for providing accurate rotas threeweeks in advance through SAM and ensuring the system is closed accurately. As a leader, youll coach and develop your team to meet departmental goalswhile championing Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours. Youll ensurethat team rotas are aligned with the Right People, Right Place, Right Time(RPRRT) principle. Building and maintaining strong relationships across theresort and with central support teams is essential. Additionally, you will handle the people support of the department, managingtasks throughout the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performancemanagement, training, and formal HR processes.### Key Knowledge, Experience & QualificationsThe perfect candidate will possess a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification(NPLQ) and prior leadership experience in a comparable environment. They must have excellent guest and customer service skills, capable ofhandling various inquiries and resolving complaints effectively. A background in creating new opportunities through sales and promotions iscrucial, along with the competence to collaborate with a diverse team to meetthe businesss needs as determined by guest demand. The candidate should have a track record of leading teams to success, managingperformance, providing coaching, conducting training, and upholding andexemplifying high standards.
