My client is migrating their SQL Server estate from 2014 to 2022 and need your expertise. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. Key Responsibilities:SQL Server Estate Migration:Lead the migration to a modern, centralised platform.Database Infrastructure:Develop and maintain our database infrastructure to support business continuity and disaster recovery plans.Performance Optimization:Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.Technical Support:Provide technical support to end-users for database-related issues.Security & Compliance:Ensure database security and compliance, implement security protocols, and perform regular backups.Experience:At least 4 years of experience administering SQL Server (2014 or above) in a corporate environment, including:Creating and maintaining databases and their objects.Troubleshooting instance and database problems and performance issues.Implementing and testing disaster recovery processes.Ideal Candidate:Experience in SQL Server database migration, including security, SSRS reports, SQL agent jobs, linked servers, and mail profiles.Ready to take on this challenge?
