Description
- Manage and monitor stock levels across various departments.
- Make informed purchasing decisions to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain department to streamline operations.
- Ensure timely supply of materials to meet production schedules.
- Conduct regular inventory audits.
- Work closely with suppliers to maintain good relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Forecast future supply needs based on sales data and trends.
- Implement strategies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Profile
A successful Stock and Purchase Controller should have:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement principles.
- Strong analytical skills to forecast demand and manage inventory.
- Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software.
