The client are a RAPIDLY growing FMCG (Food and Drink) brand that are looking to double their revenue over the next year! The company are looking for a Stock Controller to join the finance team on a permanent basis in the head office based in the West End (Hammersmith). The successful candidate will learn loads, and will need to be eager to progress through the company and with their studies.

The team is currently made up of 6 people and they are looking to grow to 8 by the end of the year! The business is also growing rapidly, and they are looking to rise from £50 million in annual revenue, up to £75 million by next year! The team/role is fast paced, hard-working and eager to get a candidate that will dive straight into the role. It is a really exciting opportunity for someone that is looking to get into a growing business and study towards their qualification.

Description

The successful Stock Controller will:

  • Oversee stock levels to ensure optimal inventory levels, reducing excess or shortages.
  • Reconcile inventory balances and provide regular inventory valuation reports to the finance team.
  • Management of the inter-company returns and reconciliations
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Stock reporting
  • Monitor and analyze inventory costs, including purchasing, storage, and wastage, to improve cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to forecast inventory needs and align with financial budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and support external audits by providing accurate inventory data.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management processes and reduce discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues related to order discrepancies and manage return processes.

Profile

The successful Stock Controller will:

  • Have approximately 2-3 years of experience working in an accounts role
  • MUST have prior working experience in an FMCG or stock based industry (pharmaceutical, retail, restaurants etc.)
  • MUST be studying towards their ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification
  • Eager to grow and develop with the business
  • Strong Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas etc.)
  • Prior working knowledge of the system SAP (desirable not essential)

Job Offer

  • £30,000 - £35,000
