Reed Industrial are hiring in Stockport! We have an exciting opportunity for a well-versed and dedicated Stock Controller to join our client!The roleIn this role, you will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and managing inventory levels across both production and warehouse areas. - Full-Time, Permanent Role - £28,000 annual salary - 8am - 5pm, Monday - FridayKey accountabilities• Daily stock counts, monitor levels, maintain optimal inventory. • Resolve stock issues, prevent errors, report findings. • Track stock with Sage 200 ERP, generate reports, analyse data. • Streamline processes, develop SOPs, participate in audits. • Align with teams, ensure material availability, communicate status.Skills & experience• 3+ years in stock control or inventory management (manufacturing/warehouse preferred). • Proficient in Sage 200 ERP and WMS. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of inventory control best practices, cycle counting, and loss prevention. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks accurately.Other• Life insurance • Health, dental, and vision insurance. • Opportunities for growth and professional development within the company.Other• Life insurance • Health, dental, and vision insurance. • Opportunities for growth and professional development within the company.
