About the Role:
As a Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting your team to achieve their goals while delivering exceptional customer service. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high standards across all aspects of store operations, from sales to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage the store floor, leading and motivating the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
- Customer Service: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a tidy, organise store and back areas, ensuring high standards in merchandising and store conditions.
- Financial Management: Oversee banking and till processes, ensuring accuracy and resolving any issues promptly.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the safety of staff and customers, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communication: Liaise with the Office Manager on maintenance issues and HR matters, ensuring smooth store operations.
- Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment process, from conducting interviews to providing feedback to HR.
- Rota Management: Ensure that store rotas are prepared and published at least 4 weeks in advance.
- Inventory Control: Monitor deliveries and stock levels to ensure accuracy and adequate supply.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with Head Office on point-of-sale, window displays, and market campaigns.
- Reporting: Provide daily feedback on store performance and handle any ad hoc duties as required by Head Office.
