Job role: Store person. Location: DerbyHours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (35 hours per week)Salary: £22,200 per annumAbout the Role:We are seeking a motivated Stores Person to join our team in Derby. This role involves a combination of stores duties, basic mechanical tasks, and occasional driving responsibilities. You will play a key part in maintaining our workshop's efficiency and ensuring timely deliveries.About the Company:With over 50 years of experience, our client specializes in designing and manufacturing parts handling and vibratory systems for the snack and confectionery industries. They are renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to their customers.Key Responsibilities:* Managing the stores area, including accepting deliveries and packing orders.* Constructing wooden packing crates and pallets for dispatch.* General workshop housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized environment.* Assisting with basic assembly tasks as needed, using hand tools like spanners and torque wrenches.* Driving a forklift (counterbalance licence required) and occasionally making local deliveries (full driving licence required).About You:* Previous experience in stores or a similar role.* Comfortable using basic hand tools and performing semi-skilled mechanical tasks.* Forklift licence (counterbalance).* Full UK driving licence.* Organized, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.If you are interested in this position, please email your CV to .
