Stores person - Matchtech : Job Details

Our client who are a well-established player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Stores Person on a contract basis to manage their warehouse operations.

• Maintain accurate inventory records by regularly updating stock levels
• Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring quantities and quality match purchase orders
• Organise and store materials, tools, and equipment efficiently within the warehouse
• Prepare and package items for dispatch according to company standards
• Coordinate with internal departments to fulfil their material and equipment needs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse
• Assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
• Counter Balance forklift and Full UK driving licenses required
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (licence preferred)
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
• Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team

8.30am - 4.30pm (Monday to Friday)Pay:c£13.33 per hour (Depending on experience)
