CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK FROM THE OFFICE 1 DAY A WEEK THUS MUST LIVE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO HIGH WYCOMBE, BUCKS.

To grow the profile and market for the organisations services within the region (mainly UK, some clients cross Europe) with a view to increasing turnover and profit. The role engages with current and potential clients, government, and other key external stakeholders.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a proactive attitude. Your energy and influencing skills will assist you to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and your critical thinking enables you to be well versed in channel management.
  • You will have demonstrable experience of creating solutions for clients and their customers, by working in partnership.

Location: High Wycombe/Remote. The successful candidate will be willing to commute to our Head Office (High Wycombe), but predominantly work from home. With the field-based nature of the role the candidate will be willing to travel to meet with clients as and when required.

Account Management and Marketing Responsibilities

  • Build and manage positive relationships with existing stakeholders
  • Add value to existing clients
  • Add further products to their portfolios
  • Encourage clients to take up the organisations portfolio products
  • Organise clients Away Days
  • Build awareness and promote the benefits provided by the organisations and its portfolio of products with a view to increasing sales in line with targets
  • Facilitate clients go-to-market plans, through enablement discussions.
  • Launch and promote new and updated products, via campaigns
  • Develop and execute local marketing campaigns with partner organisations, which comply with corporate style guide and branding
  • Together with Channel Innovation Director, contribute towards planning of regional and global campaigns.
  • Attend and represent virtual webinars, conferences, and live events
  • Attend occasional exhibitions as the organisations representative
  • Run events (virtual and in-person) to promote products and Clients

General Responsibilities

  • Arrange/attend meetings and produce papers, reports, presentations and minutes as and when required, including Teams calls
  • Champion social media initiatives (e.g. Share Your Success)
  • Support and mentor other colleagues in sharing business development best practice
  • Maintain regular liaison with other colleagues
  • Review and action any complaints which may be assigned to this role and close in a timely manner in accordance with the company Complaints policy
  • Adherence to corporate guidelines and policy
  • Maintain ethical business practice

Essential experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant relationship management or channel management experience
  • Experience in sourcing prospects and qualifying to understand opportunities
  • Experience in consultative sales; the ability to build rapport (both in person and remotely), and meet the specific customer needs with effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a global organisation with different languages and cultures
  • Understanding of the different stages of a sales cycle and to keep track on progress
  • Comfortable to contribute ideas to discussions, both within the direct team and wider business

Desired experience

  • Business degree or other equivalent formal qualification
  • Experience in marketing intangibles
  • Experience in event management
  • Experience in using social media, especially LinkedIn
