Generate deep market insights, develop comprehensive market strategies, and manage product lifecycles from ideation to release to evidencing impact. Your role will be key to enabling FDB to deliver ever greater impact on safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medications through leading-edge solutions that delight stakeholders, enable the NHS to deliver its goals, and retain FDB's position as market leader.Key Responsibilities:- Create, promote and maintain a compelling vision and product strategy for medicines clinical decision support (CDS) across the NHS Hospital sector.- Develop and maintain strategic market development roadmaps, ensuring alignment with clinical and market requirements through continuous assessment.- Manage the product lifecycle and champion project delivery by establishing clear expectations and mitigating risks.- Ensure development and maintenance activities focus on valuable clinical/healthcare interventions that deliver demonstrable value to customers, end-users and patients.- Foster strong relationships with NHS stakeholders and partner organisations.- Conduct market and competitor analysis to define our strategic positioning.- Develop robust investment cases to funding for development and enhancement activities.- Maintain knowledge of wider healthcare contexts in which our company operates.About You:Essential- Deep knowledge of the NHS Hospital sector at strategic and operational levels.- Expertise in B2B product management within healthcare or comparable sectors.- Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management skills.- Superior communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement abilities.- Confident self-starter who seeks to overcome barriers in the face of adversity.- Driven to improve healthcare by the use of digital solutions.- Analytical and strong problem-solving skills.Desirable- Experience of managing and collaborating with EPR/EPMA system suppliers.- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.- Good networker with ability to develop valuable and sustainable relationships.- Experience of defining and implementing structured market research.- Appreciation of budgetary management and experience of delivering investment cases to senior management.The closing date for this role is Tuesday, 10 December 2024.Other organisations may call this role Clinical Product Manager, Product Development Manager, Healthcare Solutions Manager, Strategic Product Lead, Healthcare Product Manager, or Product Lead.First Databank UK Ltd are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
