This role offers hybrid and flexible working and is based in Lincoln.This role is strategic and not operational.Job PurposeTo support the head of property in providing strategic direction, leadership and management of the property portfolio with a focus on growing their social housing offeringTo lead on the development of the property strategy to support the delivery of the business strategy.Lead and be responsible for all the property related policy, strategy and operational performance.To develop and deliver a data-driven, long term strategy for property for internal and external propertyJob dutiesDetermining strategy and setting objectives alongside the development of the policy and practice relating to the property portfolio by producing, developing and implementing an investment strategy including acquisitions and redevelopment opportunities, with a focus on Social Housing. The organisation are keen to explore adding to their housing portfolio and become a bigger housing provider of choice for the community.Developing option appraisals and business cases for development opportunitiesLeading and developing a programme of property opportunities to support their purpose.Providing strategic planning and development advice alongside being responsible for identifying the long-term requirements of the business property portfolio.Identifying areas where efficiency savings and income generation can be achieved and delivered Ensuring that effective systems are in place to manage, develop, monitor, evaluate and review performanceAbout YouFirst and foremost, you will be a strategist and not operational!
