Hays are excited to be recruiting for a Strategic Regulatory consultant with a leading Bank in London. This is a contracting position for approximately 9-10 months.The role will cover 3 major global locations and will be a vital role within the wider regulatory environment.Key responsibilities will include

• Regulatory Engagement: Leading interactions with regulators and trade bodies, managing senior-level engagements, and being the representative in various forums.
• Advocacy Process: Running the Regulatory Strategy and Advocacy process to ensure consistent and effective regulatory consultations.
• Cross-Business Collaboration: Engaging with internal stakeholders to develop and communicate advocacy positions.
• Horizon Scanning: Identifying emerging regulatory topics and creating internal awareness.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with UK and European regulators, preferably in regulatory advocacy or implementation roles.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, particularly in the context of large international banks.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage complex processes and prioritise effectively.
• Collaboration: Proven track record of working successfully with multi-disciplinary teams and maintaining strong internal networks.
