Job Role: Strategic Sourcing, (Supply Chain) Manager– EMEALocation: BirminghamSalary: £80,000 + BonusOn behalf of valued client, a leading global organisation in the manufacturing sector, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Sourcing Manager to oversee sourcing operations across the EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a $20M annual spend and drive strategic supply chain initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.The Role:Working in the Strategic Sourcing team, you will play a key role in optimising sourcing strategies, ensuring the supply of critical materials, and fostering strong supplier relationships to meet the company's growth objectives. Reporting to the Global Director of Strategic Sourcing, you will contribute to cost management, supplier quality, and logistics coordination while supporting the organization's commitment to operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and quality programs.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Operations to ensure materials meet plant requirements.
  • Drive cost efficiencies through data analysis and process improvements.
  • Oversee international logistics and support ISO standards compliance.
  • Negotiate supply contracts, as well as off-contract changes in pricing and terms.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing and category management strategies to maximise total value to the Business, with a focus on capacity and contingency planning in the supply base.
  • Coordinate long lead time overseas order planning and import freight logistics to meet local component/material needs.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years’ experience in supply chain management, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and MRP processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of international supply chains and ISO standards is a plus.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams on short or medium term projects to achieve Company objectives.
  • Expertise of the Procure to Pay process cycle in a manufacturing environment including knowledge of requisitions, purchase documents, quotations, receiving, supplier management, and item management business processes.
