Structured Cabling Engineer contract in Southampton

DCS Recruitment currently seek experienced data cabling engineers in Southampton on behalf of a national client.

Dates: 16th December 2024

Duration: 2 Weeks work

Working up to 8 hours on day shifts

Responsibilities and desired experience:

• Installation of data cabling including pulling, terminating, and testing various structured cabling
• Installation of relevant containment in a commercial, retail setting
• Safe provision and use of own hand/power tools, and termination kit

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid CSCS/ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card preferred
• Hold a valid IPAF licence for categories 3a and 3b
• Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
• Be able to provide relevant work references prior to start
