We are seeking a dedicated individual to join as a Student Behaviour Mentor in January 2025. We are a specialist education school located in Swindon, supporting students aged 5-13 years old. The Student Behaviour Mentor role focuses on building trust and rapport, developing independence and motivatingstudents throughout their education.
We are committed to nurturing a supportivecommunity for staff to progress and develop their skills when supporting children with additional needs. The Behaviour Support Worker role is a great opportunity to gain experience and start opening doors to other career opportunities.
Key qualities of a Student Behaviour Mentor are that you are sure of yourself, have an extroverted nature, value trust and relationships and have patience for those struggling!
Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
