We are looking for a Subsea Intervention Technician for one of our clients. The position is permanent and has a set rotation of four weeks on and four weeks off. Job Overview:
As a Subsea Intervention Technician, you'll be in charge of maintaining, repairing, and operating our subsea intervention products. You'll work both onshore and offshore to guarantee that subsea intervention projects are completed safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include equipment preparation, mobilisation, operation, and maintenance of subsea tools and systems.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on subsea equipment, including, umbilicals, hydraulic systems, BOP control systems, EDP/LRP, IRS and other subsea well access systems.
- Assist in the mobilization and demobilization of equipment and tools for subsea intervention projects, ensuring all components are in working order and ready for deployment.
- Participate in subsea intervention operations, which may involve, hydraulic tool operation, and the installation, retrieval, or maintenance of subsea systems.
- Oversee the mobilization, installation, operation, and maintenance of completion work over riser systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure the safety of all personnel and the protection of the environment during subsea operations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, inspection reports, and operational logs. Ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant with company standards.
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve technical issues and find effective to ensure the successful execution of subsea projects.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians, engineers, and project managers to achieve project goals, and provide input for process improvement.
- Timely completion of all Pre and Post job and administrative duties including, but not limited to, customer and service reports, timesheets, job debriefs, tool condition reports, pre and post job checklists and tooling tracking.
Qualification / Experience:
- Previous experience in subsea maintenance and intervention operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous offshore experience, with the ability to work in challenging environments for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in HSE practices and a commitment to promoting and ensuring a safe working environment.
- IWCF Well Control an advantage but not necessary as will be provided.
- Valid offshore certifications preferable, but not essential.
