BOM Engineer (Bill of Materials)

Location: Morley Salary: Up to £32,000 DOEFull-time, permanentOffice Based32 days holiday + fantastic benefit package

Elevation Recruitment Business Support Division are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BOM Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business based in Morely. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the ERP system and ensure smooth and accurate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain Bill Of Material’s (BOM) in the ERP system, including components, labour costs, and specifications
• Process changes to BOMs based on agreed Change Requests
• Remove old models and raw materials as needed
• Work with Design, Purchasing, and Accounts to create draft BOMs
• Validate BOMs by overseeing the assembly of units
• Create new items and models in the ERP system as directed by Design Managers
• Input BOM data for new models on time
• Configure new BOMs in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Attend weekly BOM review meetings and manage changes
• Report concerns or improvements to relevant managers
• Help with administrative IT tasks when needed

Key Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV is desirable)
• Experienced on Excel
• Good understanding of BOMs and related processes
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Previous experience in manufacturing or product-based roles is helpful.
