Supply Chain Manager - Reed : Job Details

Vacancy:     Supply Chain Manager Salary:         £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending upon experience) Hours:          Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm 

Key Duties:

• Leading the purchasing team to manage the efficient flow of orders from placement to completion
• Analysing supply chain metrics (costs, lead times, service level agreements etc)
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency of the supply chain
• Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating with existing suppliers to maximise efficiency
• Demand forecasting and inventory planning, developing contingency plans 

Person Specification:

• Indirect procurement experience (sourcing services for the manufacturing of the company’s product line) 
• Proven manager, commercially aware with strong negotiation and relationship building skills
• Qualification (e.g. CIPS) would be beneficial but not essential to apply
