About the Role:
- Position: Supply Teacher
- Location: North London (covering areas such as Barnet, Enfield, Camden, Islington, and surrounding boroughs)
- Contract Type: Daily supply and short-term bookings
- Rate: Competitive daily rates between £150 and £225, depending on experience and qualifications
- Start Date: Available for immediate starts or from September
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across all primary key stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2) in line with the curriculum and school policies.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings, maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular class teacher and leave feedback on the progress and behavior of students.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching across the primary age range in UK schools.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching styles to meet different needs.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work at short notice.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
