Supply Teacher / Cover Teacher (Maths teacher, English teacher, Science Teacher, Humanities Teacher, History teacher, RE teacher, Geography teacher, Computer Science teacher, ICT teacher, PE teacher, DT teacher)

Tempest Resourcing are currently looking for qualified and experienced supply teachers / cover teachers that are seeking work in secondary schools. We are working with a number of secondary schools and academies in and around North Manchester, who are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic supply teachers / cover teachers with a strong behaviour background. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, this opportunity may be for you.

CONTRACT DETAILS:

• Location - South Manchester
• Job Title - Supply Teacher / Cover Teacher
• Start date - September
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time, part time and day to day available
• Rate of pay - £150 - £240 per day (PAYE and Umbrella available)
• Hours - 8:15 am - 15:30 pm

THE ROLE:

• Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
• Conduct pre-planned lessons
• Encourage learning
• Managing the behaviour within the classroom
• Managing handover back to the teacher

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

• Relevant teaching qualification
• 6 Weeks experience working with children within the UK
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A nurturing and caring nature
• Excellent communication skills
• DBS on update register or be willing to process a new application
• References for last 2 years work history
