Support Worker - ROCASA Consulting : Job Details

Rocasa Consulting are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker in Reading.

This will be supporting young vulnerable adults in Supported Housing.

Salary: £13.25 per hour (PAYE)

Shifts: Day and Night Support Workers

Job Details: The service offers 40 bed housing, and its aim is to support young people who have low to medium support needs. The right person will need to do the following.

• Patrol the site ensuring it’s safe and raising concern for any potential issues

• Report any anti-social issues as they arise and record them.

• Maintain accurate records on the computer system.

• Record any accidents or incidents in the correct manner.

Requirements: The right person for the job will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as the ability to deal with challenging behaviour in a calm manner. You will also need to have previous experience working with vulnerable people.

Enhanced DBS (Children and Adults) is Required
