Location: Durham

Pay Rate: £12.50- £12.75 per hour

Shifts Available: 9.15 pm- 7.15 am (Monday to Sunday)

Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of role.

Job Description

What you'll do

Young boy needing support. He has a great sense of humour and a lovely personality, He likes someone to give him lots of cuddles and attention, and he loves listening to stories and music.

Because of his medical condition full support and monitoring are required. Your duties will include tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, medication administration and providing personal care. Due to his condition, this little boy has no independent movement, so he needs full support with his positioning. Although he is non-verbal, once you get to know him, this young boy can easily tell you how he feels through gestures, movements and facial expressions.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

Previous experience in childcare including ventilation care, tracheostomy care, and PEG feeding are required.
