We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their home in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. This person did suffer a Stroke, generally in good health but health needs are managed correctly and changes on a daily basis. They have a wide range of hobbies such as listening to a variety of music, Watching/listening to football, watching television, cooking, playing board games and going outside in the fresh air.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while enjoying a flexible work schedule. You will also need to ideally bring previous experience with you in the following:
- Complex care
- Brain injury
What will your shift involve?
In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 basis ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include Peg feeding, all aspects of personal care, mobility using ceiling track hoist, profiling bed, slings and slide sheets. Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.
