We’re looking for new team members to join this service at Alinora in Goring By Sea, Worthing which is home to seven adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and also complex and challenging needs.
Your role will involve supporting clients with their everyday needs, their personal care, hoisting, and moving and handling techniques.
The role involves household duties including cleaning the home, preparing food and cooking for each client to give a balanced and nutritional diet.
Your role will involve taking the clients out for walks, the seafront is just around the corner. Going for picnics in the countryside, going on buses and trains for days out. All our clients have their own cars so it will be one of your duties to take the clients out in their cars.
National Trust days out, Arundel Wetlands, Football matches and anything else that the clients might like to do.
For this role, we are looking for people with the following essential skill set.
Essential skills will include:
·Moving & Handling and Hoist trained & proficient
·Experience of working with clients that demonstrate behaviours that challenge
·Experience of working with clients with disabilities including learning disabilities & physical disabilities
·A Full UK Driving Licence to drive our clients’ vehicles
·Supporting Clients with their health and appointments
·Administration of Medication
