We have partnered with a leading organisation based in the Solihull area who are recruiting for a Sustainability Manager to provide maternity cover. This is a full-time role offering a salary of £60k and hybrid working Is available.Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the Sustainability Manager will have a specific focus on internal environmental audits, policy and compliance and will lead on the continued development, administration and implementation of ISO 14001.We would like to hear from candidates for the Sustainability Manager role who:
- A degree in an environmental discipline and experience in a sustainability/ environmental role is essential.
- Experience of working with ISO 14001.
- Experience of environmental monitoring and auditing.
- Knowledge of sustainability, energy and environmental legislation.
- Full UK Driving licence.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Sustainability Manager role Includes:
- Responsible for the development, ownership, administration, and implementation of the Company’s Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Co-ordinate and carry out internal environmental audits.
- Review environmental legislation and maintain Company’s legal register
- Co-ordinate environmental impact assessments.
- Manage budgets and third-party contracts as required.
- Chair meetings with internal and external stakeholders and regulators and be the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies.
- Develop and prepare meaningful KPI’s, reporting tools and trend analysis.
- Line-manage the Sustainability Assistant Role.
