Job Title: Sustainable Housing Support Officer

Location: Enfield

Hours Per Week: 35 Hours

Rate of Pay: £21 P/H (Umbrella)

Enfield Council are currently searching for an experienced Sustainable Housing Support Officer to join their new Housing Advisory Service.

Main Duties:

• Provide housing support to service users, including assessing, designing, and implementing Sustainable Housing Support Plans to help maintain tenancies and develop independent living skills.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with service users, partners, and peers to encourage positive change, promote inclusion, and support user participation in activities.
• Manage casework and documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, safeguarding policies, and Council procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes, meet performance targets, and contribute to team learning and development opportunities.

Candidate Will Have:

• Strong ability to assess, design, and implement Sustainable Housing Support Plans tailored to individual service user's needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with service users, peers, and external partners.
• In-depth knowledge of housing, welfare, and homelessness policies, alongside a commitment to compliance with relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
