Syndicate Accountant

As part of a global insurance group this Lloyd's insurer has a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified accountant with insurance experience to join and develop in their syndicate finance. This broad role will include

• Assist with the production of all financial and regulatory returns
• Assist with the preparation of the QMA and QMB
• Assist with the preparation of solvency II returns
• Assist with the preparation of financial results for the group
• Process technical accounting entries and bookkeeping for the insurance transactions
• Technical balance sheet reconciliations plus the preparation of technical journals for Lloyd's
• Inter-departmental reconciliations
• Ad hoc project work

This role would suit an actively studying (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) accountant with experience of working within the London insurance market ideally Lloyd's. Strong excel and systems skills. With a strong work ethic, you'll be looking for a role that can develop your technical insurance accounting skills.
