An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Helpdesk Engineer to join a rapidly growing team within the Finance and Banking sector, based in central London. This role involves providing company-wide BAU support and contributing to some of the organisation's most exciting projects currently underway.

Key Responsibilities:
- Log and manage all calls via the IT Helpdesk system, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed timeframes.
- Support new user onboarding, including setup across all systems.
- Ensure all computers are kept up to date with the latest Microsoft security patches and antivirus definitions.
- Provide support for Windows platforms, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
- Create and maintain computer images for Windows 10 devices and laptops.
- Manage the telephony system.
- Set up and configure company mobiles using MDM solutions.
- Assist with video conferencing requirements.
- Liaise with vendors to resolve service and application issues.
- Coordinate with IT suppliers for the procurement of IT equipment.
- Oversee IT inventory and asset management.
- Maintain the bank's intranet and external website.
- Provide desktop support for hardware, software, and applications, including travel to branches when required.
- Collaborate with Head Office to troubleshoot and resolve issues with systems hosted in other branches.
- Adhere to change control procedures.
- Update and monitor all Manage Engine services, including Helpdesk, MDM, and AD Manager.
- Monitor and address issues with the DSX server and Policy Hub.
- Support office relocations and facilitate branch visits as needed.
- Provide support for all bank-related Windows-based services and applications.
- Contribute to IT projects, including the annual disaster recovery test.
- Perform first-level network administration tasks, such as patching PCs and printers, managing Wi-Fi, and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in a computer-related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Office 365 and Exchange is essential.
- Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in financial services or banking.
- Familiarity with managing Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.
- Knowledge or experience in IT security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
