Title:                                             Systems Engineer

Contract Position based at:         Dunton -  Hybrid Working and workload dependant (Minimum of 1 day a week in Dunton) 

UMBRELLA RATE:                         Up to £35.65/hour

Position Description:

This Feature System Engineer position involves ownership of features from first concept through development and into production. Today is the age of electrification and automation of the automotive industry with new features proposed daily and we need people that are creative and motivated to deliver the features of tomorrow to our customers.

Skills Preferred:

In-depth knowledge of Quality Documents (DFMEA, LFMA, and boundary diagrams)

Functional knowledge electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, lighting systems, etc.

Electrical Systems Engineering experience including understanding of systems engineering V model

Electrical D&R experience

Electrical testing experience

Knowledge of software development processes.

Experience Required:

Proven experience with vehicle electrical systems and/or features

Knowledge of Quality Documents (DFMEA, LFMA, and boundary diagrams)

Electrical Systems Engineering experience including understanding of systems engineering V model

Automotive electrical testing experience

Experience Preferred:

Functional knowledge electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, lighting systems, etc.

Electrical D&R experience

Knowledge of software development

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree

Additional Information:

Travel: Limited travel required. If required, likely to will be Germany, Turkey or Belgium.
