This role will require the successful applicant to be holding a live SC security clearance and work on-site in Cheltenham 5 days a week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assess, evaluate, and integrate both hardware and software within server, network, storage, and desktop environments.
  • Lead the integration and testing of new products to enhance our infrastructure.
  • Drive endpoint optimisation and ensure the integrity of network access and data management.
  • Provide top-tier third-line support, solving sophisticated issues and ensuring the highest level of service.
  • Work within SLA structures, responding to and resolving incidents efficiently.
  • Give to the creation of documentation for proposals, ensuring all project processes are well documented.
  • Supply your expertise in one of the following tools; MECM, SCOM, SCORCH, Ivanti, iGEL, orTrend.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Shown experience in a customer support environment, with a keen understanding of how issues impact business operations.
  • Hands-on experience in infrastructure management within enterprise environments.
  • Ability to produce clear, user-friendly documentation for both end-users and operational procedures.
  • Experience working within project environments where collaboration and innovation are key.
  • Technical expertise in areas like fault diagnosis, file/print administration, clustering, enterprise thin client environments, and virtualiation will set you apart.
  • A proactive approach to working within tight SLAs.

It would be great if you had:

  • Advanced technical infrastructure experience, including hardware evaluation and build.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems and enterprise-level infrastructure.
  • Experience working in a high-stakes' environment, with an emphasis on fault-finding and troubleshooting.
