Role Responsibilities

As a Tax Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring compliance, and delivering strategic tax advice. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing Corporation Tax Returns and Computations for clients
• Handling tax queries and liaising with HM Revenue & Customs
• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely submission of Corporate Tax Returns and advising on liabilities
• Supporting Partners and Directors in delivering tax planning advice and strategy
• Meeting with prospective clients to discuss their tax affairs
• Monitoring work-in-progress (WIP), ensuring timely invoicing and good recovery rates
• Assisting in formulating and implementing the Corporate Tax marketing strategy

Candidate Requirements

• ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent
• A self-motivated and driven professional with a positive work ethic
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both externally and within the firm
• Confidence and resilience in taking on new challenges and supporting team members
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage portfolios effectively
