Role Responsibilities

As a Tax Assistant Manager, you’ll play an integral role in managing client relationships, ensuring compliance, and providing expert tax advice. Your key duties will include:

• Reviewing Corporation Tax Returns and Computations for a wide range of clients
• Managing client portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate Corporate Tax Return submissions
• Addressing client queries and liaising directly with HMRC
• Advising clients on tax liabilities and creating strategic tax planning solutions
• Assisting Partners and Directors in client meetings and business development initiatives
• Monitoring work-in-progress (WIP) to ensure efficient billing and strong recovery rates
• Contributing to the firm’s Corporate Tax marketing strategies

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are:

• ACA/CTA qualified or hold an equivalent qualification
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to their work
• Skilled in building strong client relationships and internal team rapport
• Confident and adaptable, ready to tackle challenges and support team members
• Commercially aware, with a track record of effectively managing portfolios
